Week 5 of the Omer: Hod (Splendor) - Humility, Splendor
- Humility is the silent partner of endurance. Its strength is in its silence.
- Humility is modesty, an acknowledgment that our qualities and strengths are not our own. They are given to us by God for a greater purpose.
- Do not confuse the yielding that results from humility with weakness or lack of self-esteem.
- Recognizing how small we are allows us to realize how large we can become.

- True humility gives us the power of total objectivity.
- It is healthy shame that comes from recognizing that we can be better than we are, and that we can expect more of ourselves.
